Forbes Health Survey conducted a survey on 2,000 participants that showed 60% of people who take part have used CBD products before and believe that it carries health benefits.


Participants of the survey also think that CBD is safer than alcohol.


60% of U.S. adults have tried a CBD product.


People of the age group between 18-25 have used CBD while it is higher for people from the age of 77 plus with 89% have used CBD.


Both men and women fair the same when it comes to using CBD.


As for the reason for using CBD: more than 50% of people from the age group of 18-25 voted for reduction of stress and alleviate anxiety. Ages 26-41 voted for improving sleep, reduce stress and relieve pain. 62% of people of 42-57 and 58-77 voted for relieve of pain while over 70% of people 77 or older voted for reducing stress and was recommended by a medical provider.


Sales of CBD products in the U.S. in 2014 was at $108 million and by 2022 it increase to $1.9 trillion.


Most popular forms of CBD products are CBD oil/tinctures, capsules, lotion, edibles/gummies and topical.


45% of people think that using CBD is socially acceptable. While using THC is not socially acceptable.


46% believe using CBD will result in testing positive on drug test.


44% think CBD should be legal. 21% disagrees and 19% undecided.


62% from 2,400 people reported in 2018 published in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research that people used CBD medically for pain, anxiety and depression.


According to the Forbes survey one-third of 2,000 people surveyed are less confident about their knowledge on CBD Isolate, Broad Spectrum CBD and Full Spectrum CBD.
